Present population is 54,167 and waste generated is 18 TPB and total house holds are 12,708 1. Primary Collection : For slum households PK's of ULB will do waste collection by adopting bring in system and for non slum households SHG's will do door to door waste collection with the help of pushcarts and Auto tippers. 2. Steer sweeping : 15 workers of ULB will do street sweeping and the total road length is 41.5 Kms. The street sweeping waste will be carried through push carts. 3. Secondary Storgae : PK's of ULB from slum households and SHG's from non slum households will dump the waste in secondary storage containers of capacity 3 to 4.5 Cum. 4. Secondary Transportation : Dumper placer into secondary containers will be transported to landfill site. 5. Street sweeping waste and construction waste will be transported to low lying area. 6. Wet waste will be composted and dry waste wil be landfilled. IEC activity carried out in the ULB during the year IEC activites are carried out in the ULB during the month of April and July.
