Water Supply

Breif Description:

      In Shahabad City water supply system is being maintained by CMC Shahabad. The main source of water is Kagina river, water is being pumped from 4.5 Kms from Kagina river to shahabad city.

The existing storage capacity:

1.         Margol College GSLR             -    7 Lakhs Gallan
2.         Old Municipal area tank OHT  -    0.75 Lakhs Gallan
3.         Laxmi Gunj area tank OHT    -    1.00 Lakhs Gallan

Existing Borewells in shahabad city:

1.        Hand Pump Borewells                                -    98
2.        1 HP 1 Phase Motor Pump with hand pump  -    11
3.        5 HP 3 Phase Submersible Motor Pump       -    13
4.        Average daily yield from river is 8.75 Lakhs Gallans per day
5.        Average yield from Borewells is 1.50 Lakhs Gallans per day
